Privacy Policy

HostSpend is provided by TinyNeed to record and analyze lodging-business expenses, import or export ledger data, and turn selected images into editable AI-assisted drafts.

Data we process

Depending on your sign-in method, we process a phone number and verification state, or the account identifier, name, and email address supplied by Apple or Google. We store your account ID, lodging and ledger content, recurring expenses, imported files, AI allowance usage, and subscription status. Images you select for AI recognition are uploaded to our server and processed by Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Bailian) Qwen vision models. Before any image is sent, the app shows what is sent and who receives it and asks you to agree; nothing is uploaded until you do. Apart from that single image, we do not send your ledger entries, phone number, or account details to that service. You can revoke the permission at any time in Account › AI recognition permission, which stops uploads immediately.

Use, sharing, and tracking

We use data only for authentication and account linking, synchronization, statistics, recognition, import/export, allowance and subscription verification, security, and support. We do not sell personal data, build advertising profiles, or track people across apps. Alibaba Cloud provides SMS and AI processing; Apple or Google handles the sign-in method you select; Apple handles App Store subscriptions; infrastructure providers may process data needed to deliver the service.

Retention, security, and choices

Ledger data and uploaded files remain in your account until you delete them or request deletion. Images require account authorization and are not public. You may export your ledger at any time and request access, correction, or deletion in the app or at hello@tinyneed.com. AI recognition, imports, and feedback are initiated by you.
